Bro. Brackett, I hope to be visiting your church in the near future. It sounds like your church believes in worship. I would like to know if Sis. Brackett sang with the Jacobs sisters when they came to South Gastonia Church of God when Rev. A. V. Childers was pastor. They came in the door shouting and left shouting.

Anthony and I have been attending the Church of God for the past 2 months or so and we can not get enough. I love the sermons and especially the music. Beth has got a voice that sends chills down my spine. Pastor Brackett has awaken something in my spirit that I have never felt before. I am so blessed to have found this church.The people are very welcoming and the Spirit of God moves through this place.

Just visited your web site. Enjoy it. My sister-in-law and her husband attend your church. (Roger and Linda Dye). I am a church secretary (25 years) of a baptist church. I love my work. As an old member from 1971 to 1982, I always enjoy checking in to see how he church has grown and progressed since our days of worship and ministry there. Old friends such as Randy & Barbara Privette and Carol Salsedo will always be in our hearts along with others. We grew to love the church and have alot of fond memories there.

I visited your Church on Sunday morning the 10th of July and felt very welcome. The anointing of the Holy Spirit was very evident in the praise and worship and the pastors sermon. My boy's and I have been transfered to Charlotte from Tennessee and are currently looking for a home church where they can be involved in a youth program. We just love being a part of the Matthews Church of God and are so thankful that the Lord led us here when He did. I am extremely sorry for your losses, I can completely empathize. My Great Aunt died a few years ago and it took me a while to adjust to life without her. Yet the Lord helped me through that hard time in my life and I pray that God will be with you always and you will find comfort in him.

Rick i pray that God will bless you like you have never seen him bless before . I have always loved all you guys so much Uncle Babe had the preaching family and mama had the singing family.. I love the lord so very much as a child i had such a love for him that i would sit and ask mama questions about the word I love to sing to him i love to think of him,, I cant wait to get to heaven i just want to sit and just talk to him. As a young girl i can remember you talking to mama on your lunch about the lord you then touched my life.God has anointed you so greatly. I know the pain your feeling over Uncle Babe and Bobby but Rick what a honor to enter into his presence. I dint know if what we feel is pain from them not being here,Or is it pain for not getting to go with them ..Oh i can't wait to enter that gate to look at his face and worship the one who died for me.I know that if uncle Babe and Bobby had the chance to come back they would say no. They have took the hand of the one who made us and are at home now with our father. I can remember a song that farmer use to sing Ive got more to go to heaven for than i had yesterday..I just wanted to say to you I am so proud of you and i know that god will hold you David, Kathy,Darlene. This church is so cool. I have been going for a year now. Everyone totally rocks. I mean I like know almost everyone there because everyone is so friendly. I want to go here forever. The Pastor and his Wife are amazing. Their Daughters Abby and Beth are so cool and beth is getting married tomorrow YAY. Make way for the happy couple. This church is the best I have ever been too.
