There are not enough words to describe the beauty of our church!!!! As soon as you walk through the doors you are embraced by the presence of God. What an awesome pastor and pastor's wife we have, our youth pastor and wife are so great as well as our church family, you truly feel the love at Matthews Church of God!!!

We visited Labor Day and were blown away. Garry and I were members from 1971 - 1982 until we moved back home to Rocky Mount. Their website is awesome you should check it out. Part of our hearts will always be there.

Garry and I were so proud of what the church has done since we left in 1982. We will always cherish the years we spent at Matthews,
The new church is beautiful and we felt right at home and so welcomed, Hopefully we can come back to visit again soon.,

I enjoy services at your church. Truely the presence of the Lord is with you. The pastor is a very annointed servant of our great God. I am always lifted anf filled with a word at each service. Continue to be a force of strenght in Matthews.

I am Linda Dye's sister-in-law, Sara and my husband (Linda's Bro) Harold is the one that had Sudden cardiac Death. He is doing well and we give God the glory. I visit your web site often. Glad you are in your new sanctuary.

Well I just wanted to let you all know,my Son and I have moved back to NC; we live between Locust and Albemarle. I sure would like to hear from you; I am just now getting back to normal from the three surgeries that I had.It seems like I get knocked down everv time I try to get back up, but praise the Lord, he pulled me through every time.I want to try to make it to the first service in the new Church next week.

I'm from the Ocilla Church of God in Ocilla, GA. We were invited to come to Matthew COG last weekend to do drama for the Youth Explosion and we had a BLAST! Every person we met at the church was extremely friendly, and the spirit of the Lord was truly present at every service. We couldn't have felt MORE welcome! Ya'll are an amazing group of people with a lovely, On fire church! I can't wait to come back and visit. :)

i really enjoyed looking and reading all about the history of the Church of God,that was really interesting to me.i enjoy coming to church and hearing the word of God,and when i walk out the doors i feel like i have really been fed.thank u Pastor n Sister Gail for all the many things u do for all of us.love Sassy

I visited your church Sunday night when you had communion. I have attended South Gastonia Church of God for almost 68 years (where I am a member). In all the years that I have taken communion, never have I felt such an annointing in this type of service as I did Sunday. God is truely blessing you and your church. I will be back to visit again.

Brackett sang with the Jacobs sisters when they came to South Gastonia Church of God when Rev. A. V. Childers was pastor. They came in the door shouting and left shouting.

Anthony and I have been attending the Church of God for the past 2 months or so and we can not get enough. I love the sermons and especially the music. Beth has got a voice that sends chills down my spine. Pastor Brackett has awaken something in my spirit that I have never felt before. I am so blessed to have found this church.The people are very welcoming and the Spirit of God moves through this place.

As an old member from 1971 to 1982, I always enjoy checking in to see how he church has grown and progressed since our days of worship and ministry there. Old friends such as Randy & Barbara Privette and Carol Salsedo will always be in our hearts along with others. We grew to love the church and have alot of fond memories there.

I visited your Church on Sunday morning the 10th of July and felt very welcome. The anointing of the Holy Spirit was very evident in the praise and worship and the pastors sermon. My boy's and I have been transfered to Charlotte from Tennessee and are currently looking for a home church where they can be involved in a youth program. I am looking forward to learning more about your church. May God richly bless you and your congregation.
