At Matthews Church of God our families are very important to us. While we realize the need for the saints to assemble for worship, we also respect the need for the congregation to use wisdom when traveling out into potentially dangerous weather conditions.
To assist us in meeting these goals our church will institute an inclement weather plan when conditions are unsafe for most folks to travel.
If the inclement weather plan is instituted for a Sunday morning, announcements will be posted between 6:30 and 7:00 am on the front page of www.matthewscog.org as well as posted on the local TV stations.
If the inclement weather plan is instituted for a Wednesday or a non-Sunday event the cancellation can be decided on during the day as weather determines, so if you're not sure about services check www.matthewscog.org before heading out.
