SUPPORT STAFF

Let's work together.

The Church support staff is essential to the smooth operation and spiritual life of a congregation.
While pastoral staff focus on preaching, teaching, and spiritual leadership, support staff handle the practical, administrative, and ministry-related tasks that enable the church to function effectively.
Treasurer/Financial Secretary: Manages church finances and ensures compliance with the bylaws of the church.
The Music Ministry Team plans and rehearses worship music; coordinates with the worship team.

Organist/Pianist/Orchestra: Provides musical accompaniment for worship services.
A/V Technicians: Operates sound systems for services and events.
Maintenance Workers: Maintain church buildings, grounds, and equipment.
Ushers/Greeters: Welcome guests, manages seating, and greets attendees.
Event Coordinator: Plans and executes church events, retreats, and special services.
The church support staff must have strong organizational and communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with pastoral and lay leaders.
They must be committed to the church’s mission and values.
In short, church support staff ensure that ministries run smoothly, facilities are maintained, and the congregation is cared for both spiritually and practically, allowing pastoral leaders to focus on teaching, preaching, praying and leading.
